Working alongside Read Construction Holdings Ltd and with the assistance of several specialist contractors the contracted works to the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Nuffield Lecture Theatre, Nickson & Johnson rooms and Corridor area have been successfully completed.
SCOPE OF WORKS
THE CRESTRON SYSTEM
At the heart of the AV system to the Nuffield and the Nickson Johnson rooms are the Crestron units by Pure AV which provide control of the lecture Theatres from touch screen devices on the lecterns, enabling the lecturer to adjust the lighting levels, open and close blinds and alter the heating and air conditioning systems.
The Nickson & Johnson rooms are two rooms with a bi-folding partition enabling the area to be used as two seperate lecture theatres or when the bi-folding door is opened, used as one large theatre. The Crestron system can detect when the room configuration and alters the lighting, heating & ventilation systems to operate as one room or two rooms.
